Branko Grootes

Branko Grootes is a Physiotherapist from the Netherlands where he received his Bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy. He has over 28 years of experience in the rehabilitation field working with individuals and groups with diverse conditions in the Netherlands, USA and in the UAE. 

He has worked in a variety of settings including hospitals, rehabilitation centers, outpatient and private home healthcare treating adults and pediatrics with (severe) neurological, musculoskeletal, cardiac, and orthopedic conditions, and trained physiotherapy students and nursing staff.  

Branko has an interest in continuing his education and has attended various post graduate courses in various countries in manual therapy, osteopathic manipulations, sports physiotherapy, work-related injuries, pediatrics, dry needling, forced use and others. He has also worked and trained at cereneo Center for Neurological Rehabilitation in Switzerland.

He also has an extensive background in sports, he was a national team member for the Dutch national gymnastics team and worked as a coach and referee. As Branko began his career in physical education, he assisted many athletes in progressing in their sports careers, and later with managing their injuries.

Branko enjoys helping people through a holistic and personal approach and is always trying to gain new skills, techniques and keeping up with the latest developments in rehabilitation in order to provide evidence-based therapy that has been proven to speed recovery. He has joined August Medical Cereneo to be part of a team that is making a significant impact on neurological rehabilitation of their patients/clients.
